This project is getting to an end but the research could go on forever, I realize there is a lot to find in the theme of protection. I made a deeper research about what other designers did with the same inspiration and I couldn’t find any other collection with the same perspective than me. So therefore I am glad about everything I looked up and the ideas I had. I could still continue and change everything again, go deeper and deeper into the protection theme.

But finally, I have to say that my inspiration point could be called : instinct. Because both things I use in this collection (decoration and protection) come from the reasons why we started covering our bodies in the first place, and after all this we see it is because of our instinct, we felt like covering ourselves just to feel decorated or protected (these are not the only reasons but two really important ones).

Protection …

In the end, protection is everywhere. In the clothes we wear to cover ourselves but also in prints or superstitions. Tattoos can protect us. Certain drawings transmit protection too : Fatima’s hand or the dream catcher. Or just a certain bracelet.

I want to explore more into the protection world and find prints or other ways to decorate this collection.
